ASR-10/MPC2000XL phasing sound

I've got my ASR-10 and 2KXL MIDI'd together with a handshake. When I set the track on the MPC to 1A-Device01 I get a phasing sound from the ASR-10 after playing the keys. Any ideas?

yeah go to MIDI : 1A - Device01 and select 1A - Device01 and hit open window...There you'll see Soft Thru : As track .....Change thtat to Soft Thru: OFF...I think that is your problem...
