there's still a buyers market for oldschool though, it's just to many new schooler are get gettin into this DIGGIN thing and they dont know the music of the past so we got these nuckool joints infiltrating the market.

yes , i stop buying off ebay, due to the prices. it's not worth paying there price.i can find it cheaper at a shop or collectors show sometimes,plus i meet so many people that collect vinyl that have stuff i'm looking for so i just buy direct, my classic rap has grown in the last few yrs. i have bought most of my want list that i have had for many many yrs,i only pay good for pre 86 rap records and depends on what it is.

I got this record called "Are You Ready " on Express Records from 81" by T.J. Swann-PeeWee Mel and Barry B. with instrumental . It's definately old school hip-hop ,but it could also go as funk.That's the type of stuff I love to find,like the Wild Style instrumentals.

The vinyl always sells for at least $100.00 right now. Original, re-issue, bootleg, whatever. Those Eminem fans "just don't give a f*ck"

The instrumental is easy to find, but the vocal version was out of print only a few months after it was released.

It's worth about $10-15 on ebay

Are you serious? I have a reissue of that one.. Or at least I think. Its the same tracklist, but with another cover (just an ordinary black 12" cover with a hole for the record lable)

If those are manufactured in that country, that would make them imports.

What difference does it make if they're imports? The album is the same, theres no difference in the import.

Besides the bottom link was to US ebay, selling US copies, of which I found 3 with just a quick look.

Once again IM TALKING ABOUT THE UNITED STATES!!!!

If you notice, the U.S. sellers are selling IMPORTED versions for $25.00, and has a street date of April 2007??? (so there is your "so what there's no difference") When the album came out, it was $12.99 - $15.99.

You can't go to any record store and buy/order an import. If I go to mostly any record store that does special orders and say "ooh, ooh can you order a vinyl copy of Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001" they're gonna say sorry that's out of print. If you said "how about Dr. Dre's first lp The Chronic on vinyl" they'd say no problem, that's been reissued.

Get your ass in some record stores in the real world, and stop digging for records in your drawz.

You said that the album would be worth money. It isn't worth any more than people can get it for, and they can get it for cheap. It doesn't matter where it comes from and whether its an import. Once again, an album is only worth the lowest price you can get it for.

A good record digger uses every resource available to them, whether it be import, real record store or internet purchase. I do go to real record stores thanks, but I also check the online prices and buy a record where its cheapest (like anyone with at least half a brain) and it doesn't matter to me whether it's an import or what its street date is as long as it has the album full of songs on it.

Dre's 2001 isn't worth more than $20-25, get over it.

The '07 IMPORT is worth $25.00. The original question was HOW MUCH IS AN ORIGINAL REASONABLE DOUBT LP ON VINYL WORTH??

What your pointing us all to is NOT an original pressing as evident it being an import pressed in Apr. 2007.

ORIGINAL PRESSINGS PRESSED IN 1999-2000!!

Next you'll be telling us the original pressing of Breaking Atoms is worth the same as the re-issue/imports.

An original import is worth the same as an original non-import.

The import I showed you in my first post was an original.

An original copy of 2001 is worth no more than a reissue. At least not a significant amount. Unless $10-15 is a significant amount to you?

Also, I should explain that I have a connect at Interscope who hit me off with Chronic 2001 and all the singles back in 99'. I'm talking about a whole box of approx. 10 LPs and 6 copies of each single. At first I was like what am I gonna do with all these (before eBay)?? I held 'em for about 6 months and when I found out the LP was out of print, the singles weren't being released as singles (Xxplosive/F*ck You, The Watcher/Bang Bang) I made a killing on 'em. The 1st LP I sold for $20.00 (and I thought I came off) the 2nd, I sold for $30.00, then $50.00, then $75.00 and so on and so on. I still have three LPs left and sold all the singles in sets for $50.00.
