in my book only rap music from 94-5 to 90 are good but NOT worth 10 bucks, unless you buy classic rap stuff.
but ey, this IS "classic rap stuff"
sorry Nuskooler, this is Nu skool hiphop NOT OLDSKOOL!!!
@fobedafied you right about sellin records ,it's all about the moment,
there's still a buyers market for oldschool though, it's just to many new schooler are get gettin into this DIGGIN thing and they dont know the music of the past so we got these nuckool joints infiltrating the market.
yes , i stop buying off ebay, due to the prices. it's not worth paying there price.i can find it cheaper at a shop or collectors show sometimes, plus i meet so many people that collect vinyl that have stuff i'm looking for so i just buy direct, my classic rap has grown in the last few yrs. i have bought most of my want list that i have had for many many yrs,i only pay good for pre 86 rap records and depends on what it is.
I got this record called "Are You Ready " on Express Records from 81" by T.J. Swann-PeeWee Mel and Barry B. with instrumental . It's definately old school hip-hop ,but it could also go as funk. That's the type of stuff I love to find, like the Wild Style instrumentals.
