MY ZIP DRIVE STILL TELL ME "WAIT" !!HELP

hi buddys

i have bough a zip drive 250mo scsi when i hook it up to the mpc it tells me wait and nothing else happen i don't understand i have used a syquest which is a scsi hard drive and it works .please help

try to make sure the Zip is set to 4. in the back of it. and that its properly connected.

then make sure you just have the Zip connected. NOTHING else. try to do it then.

Turn on zip first. Then MPC.

now look for SCSI 5. or watever the zip is registered to. ...

should work.

thanks man but there is nothing to set on my zip just the scsi wire hooked up to that **** zip drive lol

whats a 250mo? Do you meen 250mb? make sure its not a Parallel drive because those won't work.

As M2P0C00 say's, sounds like you have a paralell drive not a scsi one.

If it turns out not to be SCSI, it's useless to your mpc.

THanks man shit its a paralel drive one i got it for free but i dunno there were 2 type oef zip drive anyway thanks a lot i'll keep it for transfering files from my pc to the zip thanks peace
