now now, be nice. Its usually the user who is retarded. The machine only does what you tell it...(well, usually...) :P

Not tryna say ur retarded, im just sayin.....

Did you make another beat before that? When you're ready to clear the mpc so you can make a new beat, you have to erase all sounds from memory. You obvioulsy have too many sounds loaded up. Either turn your mpc off and back on, or go into TRIM mode, highlight the name field and hit open window. Erase all sounds from memory.

Go into PROGRAM mode, highlight the name field, hit open window and erase all programs.

Go back to main screen, highlight the sequence name field, hit open window and erase all sequences.

Your MPC is now ready for a new beat.

I never made any beats before, but I tried that and then tried to load the disk and it still said not enough memory?

Is there a way to reset the machine, or possibly just delete anything thats on it (although I doubt there is because I never used that machine).

what is it exactly that you're tryin to load? so right after you turn your mpc ON, you go into the save/load screen and you try to load something. and immediately it tells you not enough memory? you havent even tried to load anything else before it tells you that?

Well now it works, got home from work, put it in and it loads. Now all I got to do is try and figure out how to get some sound out of my speakers, I know the pads are working because the DB meter on my screen goes up when I hit them.
