you could probably jus convert akai to a wave file, and then drop it in acid

I thought about that, but when a file is converted in wav,or aiff(i use an Imac),especially an "harmonic file like a bass loop,it loose his informations concerning the tonality,so if the timestretch still works, the pitch doesn't........anymore...;can you see the problem?

the only other one off the top of my head is to, SAMPLE the SAMPLE, play the akai sample in a ware that reads it then play the audio out and sample that, and then acidize the audio :? it may be long......

Do you play any instruments? because what I do is just play guitar or keyboard to the loop and figure out the key then just plug that into Acid or Sound Forge.

okay, this may be alot but here it goes

when you convert some formats to wav you can't save the program, like the velocity, tones and things

but, if you convert it to a soundfont you can save it all

if you have something that will play soundfonts, open it in that program, then render it as a wave, you may be okay with a bass loop
but if you are trying to use a playable bass sound that is mapped out across the keyboard then you will probably have to "sample the sample"

try it as awav and see how you like it in acid
