how do i get songs to MP3 format

how do i tranferr my songs from .all songs or w.e format to my computer to MP3 or Reason.?

i just have a Akia mpc 2000xl mcd no other Extra Equip.

is it possible?

ever try recording it in thru your sound card?

like i said all i have is the mpc no extra Equipment or wires the MPC and my comp..

yo, get a program called sound forge, then install it. Next, plug the mpc into the line in jack in the back of your computer sound card open sound forge ,press record, then press play on the mpc. After you record your beat you can save it in mp3 format. you will need to get a program that converts filesinto mp3 form, sound forge works good. Sound forge, I think only works with a PC not a mac.

on your pc you should a record plug right next to where your speaker\headphone plug goes into all pc's since 1978 have them. you will have to have a cord more than likely an audio red and right to stereo cord you can get them at radioshack make sure it is audio (red and white) to STEREO because there are audio red and whites to mono they cost like 6.95 and up
