im new 2 mpc's i've known about them for years but im just now able 2 afford a mpc500,should i get that 2 start off,the only piece of equipment that i have now is a zoom sb-246,any help will be appreciated

Get a 1000, 2000 or 2000xl. Cheap on ebay for example.

I recommend the 1000 for a new mpc user. But buy used, as you will save loads of cash that way. Just make sure you buy from a reputable seller.
