what happened to my bass ?

i made a beat with a real heavy bassline, now i recorded it on to my computer and you can hardly hear a bass ? its not another soundsystem, i made my beat with the same speakers.. is it because i saved it in wav format ?

naw....did you actually track out everything or did you just record the beat straight up?

See if you can isolate the bass from it. I mean, mute all the tracks except the bass. Record it. After that record the rest in one take, but mute the bass this time. When you put these 2 wavs together, you will definitely get your bass sound. If of course there is nothing wrong in the recording path...Anyway, just try it.
And remember to slave (sync) mpc to your DAW.

if you're using the eb16, then you might want to check the mix settings on that as well
