Computer problem, I think?

In my computer, when I go to Accesories > Entertainment > Volume Control, I should be able to go to the properties then click over to recording, but when I do nothing pops up in the box below, dosent this mean my computer dosent recognize that the MPC is hooked up? And if that is the problem, how can I fix this?

I dont see how this would work when the mpc is not an audio/midi interface.


what are you trying to accomplish?

My MPC is connected to my interface and I cant seem to figure out why there is no sound coming out of my computer speakers. All I want to know is how to set my comptuer, MPC, and Reaper (well this is the program I use, but its probably the same for most) settings to get some sound.
