Help me with Reason!!

Ok I have Reason 2.5 a Tascam us122 interface and my trusty MPC1000 how can i use the synth in Reason as my sound module for my MPC???

Any one please!!!! Sorry for the bump but its been two weeks!!!!

It doesn't quit work the way your thinking - but it works

Midi out of your MPC1000 into Reason Midi in - but there's that Latency thing

however you can sample all your beats back into the 1000 from your computer -

Your best best is to write your parts in reason and export the parts out of your computer and load them up into your 1000 or just sequence your track out in Reason

I am testing Reason as a module with my MPC and have no latency (that I can notice). Like they mentioned above you have to go midi out of MPC to midi in of soundcard and vice versa. I am still a newbie at messing with Reason but am trying to master the program.

Mpc midi out to midi in of interface, Create a instrument in reason, and set the midi channel to 1A on the Mpc, and make sure on the reason midi interface the instrument is selected on that channel which is 1, go 1A,2A, and so forth, im using reason with soundfonts, and samples, so if looking to update your sound library look around the web for free sounds, on the other haand you could purchase.

The best thing you could do is sample your sounds from Reason into your Mpc save your sampled sounds and play all your mods right along with your samples of your trks thats if you are thinking of playing live sets.

The Redrum plays samples also in Reason which can give you better
control and also play injuction with your Mpc 1000 hardware use all
you got maximize and utilize what you have possibilities are endless.
