hello,

If i remember well there is a hidden menu in the 4000
where you can select the fan speed..

boot the mp while pressing something

or i'm just crazy.. ? :?

Turning the fan from the low setting to the high setting will cause more noise from the fan. Why would you want that?

Well since no one else posted how to get to that menu I guess I will. Go to the GLOBAL page select MEMORY (F2) then you will need to press SHIFT and GLOBAL at the same time.

NOTE, if you f*ck up your MPC do not blame me or anyone else other than yourself.

Just curious, how could this f*ck it up. Durning the summer it would make sense to turn it up. If the fan's too loud -- turn up the volume!

There are other options in that mode which COULD F*ck up the MPC. So keep your comments to yourself.

I doubt it is: just read the MPC4000 service manual.

But there are no functions in the service manual which are useful for users when making music, only to engineers fixing a broken MPC4000!
