5. Lastly on the MPC go to midi and setup as follows.

From here on out go to song mode on MPC. In protools setup your audio track/s, record enable it/them, hit F12 on keyboard and it should work.

now if you can tell me how to get protools to be the slave through MTC, id buy you a beer, PTHD timing isnt the greatest.

I was able to establish that connection once on a friends Nuendo setup. Have yet to try it on my shit.

You would do the same thing but on the MPC set it to MTC and then in Pro Tools jsut use MTC to enable Port 1 and that's it. Don't set anything that says Midi machine control or any MMC commands.
