Can anyone here clear up what the deal is with the MPC1000 and Recycle .AKP files?
When I chop a loop in Recycle (I'm using V2.0) there is an option to export the chopped data as an .AKP file.
The documentation for Recycle says that the .AKP file can be read by the AKAI S5000,S6000 machines.
There is no info on in my MPC1000 manual about .AKP files. Can I assume that it is not possible to read the .AKP file in the MPC1000?
It would be so cool if you could use the .AKP file method with all MPC models, why was this nice feature dropped?
Can .AKP files be converted into a format which the 1000 can read? Aside from Bluebox ss there another workaround for this issue?
