so today i pick up the new scratch magizine and read some articles and alot of what i was reading was producers and a&r's talking about "they grown now, and they gotta eat" stuff like that and are "you trying to pay tribute , or feed your family" and ill i can think is what the **** man...is true hip-hop really that "unmarketable" i mean i see dudes like damu and boon on you tube and that keeps my hopes alive i mean what happened to having fun in hip-hop and crafting art rather than laying some synth lines over an 808 beat? what happens in a million years when the aliens dig up our cd's of today? i wonder if these dudes had that thought on there mind would they still be making flash rap or actully making music that has meaning? please everyone on this board lets make music that ppl years from now will still have respect for before we lose it all together.word
