Any suggestions on what I can do to get the most out of it?

Is $450 a good buy, all 100% working condition?

It has a floppy besides that what can I use to get the sounds in?

That's a good deal but sounds a little bit shady even tho I know they are going for pretty cheap nowadays.
You need to sample into the MPC if you ain't going to use those floppies but your gonna need to save to those floppies.

Ok, you need to sample in using the jacks on the back. Also, to store your sounds your best bet is getting a zip drive with the right cable (search ebay under sampler. sampler accesories in Pro Audio) it is sooooooooo much quicker than floppies!

Zip disks do cost a bit more but they store like 70x more info than floppy.

Hope that helps.
