MPC Default tempo

when starting my mpc 1000 my tempo always defaults to 102.4

i cant figure out how to set the default tempo back to 120.. the only thing i could find on jj's site was this:

under memorized setup--> when pressing main

SEQUENCE Default Tempo : 30.0-300.0
SEQUENCE Default Bars : 1-999
SEQUENCE Default Name


Another thing is i cant get the fix tempo option to work correctly in os 4.87

any help is appreciated, thanks

to be more specific, i press window on the tempo, change it to 120 and press fix tempo, the tempo of the sequence im on is on 120, but all the other sequences are still on 102.4 (which they all default to when i start the mpc)

so 2 issues:

1. how to change the default tempo when starting the mpc.. (p.s: auto load is OFF)
2. How to use the fix tempo option

now im answering my own questions , fix tempo works with used sequences only, unused ones arent oops, but yea, i still dont get the default tempo problem

Press Window when the sequence is highlighted, F3 to choose default settings, now i set name, tempo, and bars default,


i guess i solved my own problems, smarter than i think, this thread is done lol

yeah, and i wish we had something to set the default name of a NEW FOLDER to something shorter, I name my folder with the creation date (YYMMDD) and I'm tired of deleting the unwanted letters at the end (LDER).
