so im taking classes in professinal recording arts program at the art insttitute, and weve been using an mbox protools LE set up in one of my classes to chop loops and create songs and all that jazz, seince i dont own a mac, i was wondering would the m-powered protools work just the same pretty much as the mbox one?
i have a m-audio firewire 410 and i could hook up the m-powered protools to that, but do you think it would be worth it? has anyone used both of the versions of protools?
some pros and cons?
any input would be appreciated.
i would love to have protools on my pc, but i just dont know if it will work as good, also, would i be better off getting a better version of protools, because i know LE is the most basic version you can purchase, and m-powered is like the pc equivilant-ish.
im gona mainly use it for making hip hop beats and school projects, while im attending art institute.
ive been using acid pro 5 to track stuff, an mpc 500 to arrange and soundforge to chop samples.
thanks again in advance
