so ive had my mpc about a year and a half and its always worked fine. now the f*ckin thing locks up every single time i try to load up a zip disk. when i try to change it from floppy to scsi 5 it says waiting...... and locks up. EVERY TIME. do you think something is f*cked up with my os disk or what? did my scsi port die? it makes no sense but its pissing me off

hahah wow. so immediately after i posted that, i took everything apart cleaned my pads and got kinda pissed. punched the mpc cover hella hard and then smoked a bowl to calm down. blew on the scsi port (old school NES style)
and put everything back together. scsi port and zip are working fine now. WTF

Punching things actually helps sometimes lol, I think the blowing in the ports NES style is what did it lol. That shit always worked when your game would freeze up haha. I also think by you smoking a bowl help it to :) Cause that just helps everything.

Another good quick fix that works 50% of the time is the "lift it up and drop it" technique. Anyone can do it, and depending on how high you lift it, correlates with how fixed it will be afterward. Really! try it.

I think that depending on how "HIGH" you are, depends on how high you drop the item from :) And you are def correct. It's 50% Sometimes it might work form a high altitude drop, and most of the time it'l **** break from that. So choose wisely....
