anyone have some kind of case for their MPC1k?

My house is too small for a dedicated studio, plus I have a 3-year-old son. So I have to put the MPC away after every time I use it.

I keep mine in a shoebox lined with a folded towel, with all the cords looped up underneath it, and the memory cards in the space behind it.

Have any of you got pimped-out MPC1k cases? Road cases or anything?

damn, i need to look into a case. my mp's been traveling since "freestyle fridays"

Check this out. $20. I just used the original foam that came in the MPC's box so it sits snug. I can fit a couple sets of wires and my ipod comfy and NO it does not slide around. Oh and they have Black, Blue, Red, Silver..

thats scary...lol

you can get these @ Home depot .....weve used these for the laptops, cameras and of course the MP.

lap top case, plus theres plenty of zippers/pockets to hold cords

can u show me a link where i can buy one?

I use an old power tool carry case made by CORE. Made of high impact plastic with a foam inlay. The MPC sits tight in there.

I would check homedepot.com. I didnt order it tho. I picked it up by the tool section @ home depot.
