What the #%%@@@!! is wrong with my USB connection.

i have my USB cord connected all good. i go to MODE -> SAVE/LOAD -> f4 for the USB option and half the time my Flash card doesnt show up on the desktop. its like i have to turn off the mpc, leave it until the next day and i try to connect and it usually works.

am i doing something wrong, is there a way to fix this? by the way... its dones this with both the akai 128mb card and my kingston 2gig card so its not just one card thats causin the prob

yall this is seriously becoming an inconvenience.. its basically a less than 50% chance that the Flashcard icon shows up on my desk top.

the mpc will say "STATUS = CONNECTED" but i dont see the damn flash card on my comp.

anyone got anythin for me regardin this problem id appreciate it. peace

Have you considered the JJ OS?

yes i have. are you sayin this is a common problem with the akai OS and JJ will fix this problem

did you format your card using JJ?

no... never had that JJ program

When you have the jj os it allows you to navigate away from the usb while still connected.
