Someone told me I can insert a "normal" PC 128 MB memory in my MPC instead of the "official" optional AKAI memory ?
Is it true ?
If yes ? Which kind of memory I have to buy to be sure it works correctly ?
Thanx

I put a 256MB SDRAM, 144 pin, PC133, CL3 and the MPC1K recognised it as 128MB and working fine. Costed only USD50/-.
Details: MTBLSDT3264HG-133B1 (don't know which brand).

Because the MPC see half of the memory so 256 equals 128
