i tried to search for this question but it wont let me search right now...

sorry its probably a dumb question but how do i connect my mpc1000 to a yamaha keyboard. i looked in the book and ttried what it says but its kinda confusing. I would appreciate the help thanks a lot

I think its actually called a midi handshake not a daisy chain but you get the point.

that video didnt really help me man. someone please help me. all i want to do is play my mm6 sounds onto my mpc1000. maybe use the drums from the mpc and the keyboard sounds from the mm6. of all the years people have been using devices like these no one has wanted to do anything like this. im sure there are many people who have. PLEASE HELP ME. IM DESPERATE

@lithion: props for your efforts in making that video and helping people, but please do not connect any audio or midi wires to devices that are powered on.
this can lead to statics and damage all the gear. this should not be shown in an instructional video. thank you!

thats exactly what the video showed you. remember tho, you audio outs for MPC and keys need to be pugged into your interface. you only controll the audio from the MP it still comes out of the keyboard

i dont have a mixer though man. i just have an mm6, mpc1000, midi cables, audio cables and and mbox 2 with pro tools
