Adding Smart Reader to MPC2K... If U Know? Send Me A Thread!

Hey Y'all,

I am going all out to find a compatible smart card reader for my MPC2K (Orig.) There are hundreds of threads here and I wanted to just get the links so I could do this upgrade myself. I'm not afraid to crack her open BUT I AM AFRAID of bad advice! Advise please...

1. What card readers are best for the original MPC2K?

2. What 'how to' threads or sites do you have a link for?

**I feel this is a question that has been answered in bits and spaces here but those (like me) who want to know just want good advice**

Go find threads with "PCB reader blah blah" on the header. There are tons out there.

There are a few kinds that work. I wouldnt get one that needs mods. Buy the one off mpcstuff.com that requires no mods. It sucks because its overpriced $150.
