Yo fellow 4k owners.....

I collected a bunch of free/legal samples, and tried to get only ones I thought would be usable, actual instrument sounds that had a good quality, most were in soundfont or giga format which I converted to S5/6000 format. I did some editing on some of them in the 4k to get them to sound proper, most are very playable or they at least give you good sample content to work with. I hope you can find them useful, I focused on real instruments as I figured synths are easier to find/make.

It's always easier to find free sounds online, but not always easy to find them in a format that can autoload into our wonderful machine.

enjoy!

Thanks! I'll tell you what...I'll put up some programs / samples of my own. I recently sampled my Rozzbox, D50 and Tx81z and made quite a few nice patches....I'll post those too for you guys.

There are a lot of invalid filenames for the samples. They will not load in the 4k. Just curious to how you were able to edit the programs with unloadable samples.

all of my files loaded properly? not sure what you mean, the samples i saved directly from my 4k after testing them out? i'm sure you could rename them if you need to, but i was able to get those working properly.

however, if you are having issues please let me know and I can go through and rename all the files and post it back up for you

anyone else having issues or not let me know and i'll fix the programs.

cool, it's so hard to find auto-loadable content online, there is mostly just wavs, so if anyone has stuff they'd like to share...legally, let's do it!!

okay, i'll check those for you, and rename them properly. How about all the others?

by the way, those strings are one of my favorites of the bunch, very nice.

i'd like to know you experiences with this software, i'm getting more into sound desing, and I am considering that software, or extreme sample converter

Here's my first pack. All samples were sampled by me from my own synths:

* the Yamaha TX81z (it's a classic 4 operator FM synth), if you didn't have a nice lately bass patch - you ave two now.
* the Roland D50 which I sold last saturday
* the Rozzbox V1 (a German hand made synth of which about 40 exist - worldwide)

Most patches have 8 or 10 different samples (different keys in them). One or two are multi layered and most can be tweaked live with your modulation wheel.

I really hope you like them, and all feedback is welcome.

For those who also share some nice APK's: I also do requests....I've quite a large arsenal of synths (despite selling a lot of them lately) and sound sources that I can sample off.
