Sample or Re-Sample

I have an XL with an internal zip250 drive and scsi cd-rom and was wondering if there was any way I could increase the volume level of my chops after sampling? I tried increasing the volume via the mixer screen and pad parameters to no avail. I also experimented with converting them to stereo, but still not loud enough. I didn't try re-sampling. Is there another way to do this INSIDE the MPC besides just sampling again with the "rec gain" turned up to about 3 o'clock?

I'm not sure, but is there a Normalize function in the XL? If so, that's what you're looking for. Apart from sampling it loud enough in the first place.

Thanks Stilo for replying...... i know i should have sampled in loud enough in the first place, but the fact remains.... i didn't. That's why i thought i would ask the community! I went through the manual and did certain things, but it still didn't increase the volume level! I guess i'll just have to sample and make my chops again which can be a pain sometimes, especially if you feel you have "perfect" chops already!! No biggie though. It just trips me out on how i can get the "entire" forum too view my sh!t, but can only manage one response!! I guess people consider this question assinine. No sweat. It's all good. there is normalise in the xl search thru the tabs in the mixer its the master, it can be max'd
