Samples stop early in playback?

When playing a multi-tracked sequence back sometimes a sample stops early as if it is conflicting with something else?..i can't work it out, can anyone shed any light? or shall i fling the thing out the window in a rage?

Voice miss management. your maxing out the 32 voices of the MPC, makes sure you dont have long silence on things like hi hats that over lap as they use voice space. trim samples carfully.

thanks, that does make sense, i often don't trim the end of samples as i can't find any easier way other than much spinning of the jog wheel in the trim section, which takes ages , is there another way?

Get the JJOS, this clears up that pesky data wheel issue.

Beyond that, umm lemmie think. I think you can hold down the after button and use the q-link sliders to trim.

Also, ohh yea I think if you hold down shift and push the over button, you can change the digit on which digit the data wheel will scroll, thus allowing you to scroll faster.

It's been so long since I had the akai os I forgot how but I know there is a way to scroll faster.

But seriously, get the JJOS.

brilliant, thanks for the q link tip, made my saturday and will give my jog wheel arm a rest!!, much easier to trim samples now
