CF card problem

I am having a problem getting my 1000 to read the CF in the drive. Until yesterday it worked. I took it out to use on something else, put it back in and reloaded the files that i had previously on it. The problem is is that the MPC won't see the files but when i connect via USB, it reads them perfectly. I put my other CF disk in the reader and It reads that one just fine. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Use your card reader and copy the files to your harddrive. Try formatting the cf card. The download the files back unto the card and try in the drive again.

i'm not sure if i understood you correctly... but you probably don't wanna use the flashcard you use for MPC samples with other pieces of equipment (other than a flash drive hooked up to your computer of course)... each piece of hardware has a different way of reading/formatting these cards and storing data on them... popping your card into a camera or some other non-akai sampler could result in you losing all your samples for good...
