few newbie question..

Yo.. I have 2 questions for you guys, the first one is.. if im making a beat in 8 bar, i put a 8 bar kick line a 8 bar snare line, but then i want to do my hi hat but I want it to be a 2 bar line because its to hard to make it maintain 8 bars long with the same velocity and timing..! Is it possible ?? Do you understand what I mean at least?..

And my other question is when I chop a sample when I do a program with the chopped sounds, and then I hit the pads really fast, the chopped sounds are played one AFTER the other... and if i save that program and reload my MPC and the program then the sounds are played one OVER the other, so it doesn't quite sound the same.. So I always have to find my sample again and rechop it the same way I did... But im sure there is only one little thing to press and Its cleared...

Any one can help me??

Quantize will solve your timing issues. 16 levels will solve your velocity issues. And you can copy bars also. You so many options where that is concerned.
