Need help with my Trim/Loop page in the Sample window

When I go to the Trim/LP page of the Sample window and try to edit my sample.... I cant move the Start cursor past about 1/4 of the way across the page to the Right. But I can move the End cursor all the way Left to the other cursor.

I dont remember having this problem before, hope I making my self clear, Thanks

Mine does the same thing but i say fkkk it and keep working.
as long as one side works you have to work with that.
the MPC 4000 is like life, its not exactly perfect but we have to keep on stuggling.

this is cause of ur tryin to pull your "sample start point" past your "reigion end point" ,to free up the start point, go to the reigoin page,move the cursor to the number of reigions,push the window key and do it to reset them to desired number,or manualy change the region end point ...

All i want to do is use the Trim cursors in the Trim/Lp page and then go to the edit window to Discard the rest of the file. Why does the region page even have an effect on the trim/loop page. Its kind of annoying that i have to be concious of how the region page is set up just so i can edit the damn file.

I had the same problem, and even extracting the sample as a new sample it still wont let me change the start point, thanx for the pointer Reveal it was bugging me fkn badd
