Settig Pad Sensitivity????? HELP

How do I set pad sensitivity????

I want my samples to trigger when I touch the pads and I want them to stop when I release them instead of playing all the way through! HOW DO I SET THIS UP???????[/b]

that's not "pad sensitivity" my friend.

I'll assume you have an MPC1000, although you din't say which. MODE Program, move the cursor over the sample name, hit WINDOW, change it from 'one hit' or whatever it says to 'Note On'.

I have an MPC 2000xl!I did not realize that I did'nt make a distinction of which MPC that I had!I still hope you can help me!!!!!!

I think its shift> program>note off. its been a while since I used the xl, not sure if thats right
