... the sample it continues to play?
Hy! I use MPC1000 as a drum machine essentialy using a drum wave loop in a sequence, inserting the wave loop on the first event of the sequence.
Then I regulate the time based on the length of the wave. So the sequence plays the drum wave loop. But, if I stop the sequence o change to next sequence, the previous sample continues to play overlapping itself to the new one!!! It's possible in some way to interrupt the wave previous?
Thanks!

Use mute groups if they're two different samples
Mono setting if it's the same.

ok real quick what is being said is; to stop a sample from playing thru its entirety take a blank pad and set it and the sample pad to the same mute group hence when you want to stop the loop from playing hit the blank pad. now if you stil dont get it play around with it and you will see the light in about 10 - 15 minutes

i read you wrong if its overlapping then either its not cut correctly or you have the bpm or bars wrong. if for example its exactly a 4 bar loop then it should not run over into the 5 bar unless what is mention before is hapenning.

try looking up "note on" and "one shot" in the manual.

well..after have created the sequences with a single event that plays the drum wave in "loop on", I use the function "next seq" for live. Now the problem it's that when I make to start a sequence pressing pad + "play" and after I decide to stop pressing "stop" (but not to make to start an other sequence...) the sequence continuous to play until the end of its loop... there's a way in order to stop the sound like in the traditional electronic drums? I can't use "mute group" because pads by "next seq" not sound...It's possible put in loop a sample associate to a pad without to use sequence? Thanks!! Sorry for my english!!
