why would peeps spend $300+ for something like an M audio Firewire 410 box to use as an interface when they could just blow $40 for the M audio Uno for $40....

appreciate it.. i'm still getting my learn on as far MUSIC MAKING goes.. was an emcee at heart.. but sometimes these books is mad confusing...

any tips or advise on in regards to choosing a m audio 410 v/s mbox 2?

I mean read up on the them and from my understandin they pretty much the same thing... and they both specialize in pro tools..wit the m powered ish. but yeah i'm just tryin to make a well informed decision cuz it gon take me a MINUTE to build up $300... so i want it to go right..

my aim is to be a sample based producer... and eventually graduate to recording complete tracks with ableton live 6.01

i'd appreciate the input and info!!

peace and love
