Hello,

I'm thinking of buying a 1000 and was wondering if there was a key function maybe in the global that would run a test on the unit to make sure all the buttons work!

I remember on the 4000... there was a function you could do that would make the whole machine light up one at a time. Just kind of shows you that everything is working!

Any help would be great! Respect... and sorry if this has been talked about. I searched but found nothing!

Thanks for the response... I was wondering cause someone is selling one and I was just going to meet him at a wallmart parking lot! My thought was to plug it into my A/C adapter in the car and just check it out! I don't like folk to know where I stay if I don't know them....

Its to bad they don't have that little test! I guess I will have to bring some headphones or something!

try meetin them at a coffeeshop or library that has power outlets for people with laptops, and bring some headphones......
