Deciding on a soundcard or digital multitrack recorder

I just posted this in studio environments, but i was wondering if anyone has any experience they can share. Im trying to decide if i should track out to my computer (i already have a delta44 as an interface) or track out to a digital multitrack recorder?, my main concern is quality and im wondering if anyone out there has any experience in hearing a difference between the two. Or maybe post your tracking solutions and what gives you the best sound quality. In the meantime i'll keep searching.

well if its using the same sample rate and bit rate then its pretty much going to sound the same. Me personally I'd rather track into the comp so you can have a little more fun with the editing. If all the verses and hooks are fairly similar on the beat then you can just track the intro verse and first chorus and copy and paste to save time.
