I own the 2000 & have 100zip connected to it with a 100internal zip inside my computer. The problem I am haveing is saveing progs. useing the MPC Editor, placeing them on zip useing the internal zip drive. I am only able to use approx. half of the zip disks space. I already heard that I needed to put the files in a folder but the 2000 is unable to open folders; so I basically have a bunch of zips with only half the memory occupied. If this issue has been addressed before I apologize, but I did a search & did not find the answer I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may need to partition the disk. There is a limit to the number of files each partition can hold.

250 files per root folder if I'm not mistaken, it's been a while so my memory tends to fail me here. Partitioning is the answer.

i got the same setup as you bro. i think you can save more beats by using 2 partitions, not 3 or 4 but 2. do this in the format screen
