20 plus screens? Screens that you don't need anyway?

I have a 2500 too and JJOS made it 10 times better. New features, no midi problems, no saving problems, greater workflow and it improved a lot of stuff that was in the AKAI OS.

I have the JJ OS as well as the Akai OS for my 2500. The only feature I wouldn't part with on the JJ OS is the improved chopping features and the global program editing. Everything else..ho hum...nice to have if you ever need it but most of the time just an after-thought...

The OS the mpc comes with is the one on the website.

There is a new mpc2500?

Either they didn't update the website, or you are just plain retarded.

dude - you clearly have a couple screws loose on this matter. if you'd stop for a second you'd see you're wrong.

the mpc2500 DOES NOT SHIP with the following screens/functions + many more:

Those screens/functions are among the things that could be easily be left out and no one wouldn't care

u can do that already but its just that the screen is different fine what else can you do though thats significantly different

yeah but regrdless at the end of the day it has to be 16-bit in order to be on cd so that feature seems useless but i seen some ok stuff in the link but not enough to make me switch over

there are a whole lot new features.
I would have paid 30 bucks for the new trim screen alone.
Then there is GlobalProgramEdit, bit red, ring mod, new effects (delay on the first slot too), Great 16pad GritEdit and the list goes on.
