INPUT THROUGH

peace, does anyone know if the 4000 can monitor through ? i.e can you for example hear your turntable play while u have a drum loop going in the sequence mode.?

Yes the 4k can monitor what you record as the sequence plays. From now on these simple questions are going into the getting started section. I will help you when I can but you got to step up and read the manual. If you wonder why people are skipping alot of your questions cuz you are asking the obvious. Please read to help yourself.

thank you but i did read the comparison grid and it said no, then when i tried i heard the signal through, but the recorded seq. sounded different (lower) when i enter the record screen on the 4000., which is why i asked the forum so maybe ther's an o.s update or a setting to be adjusted that overcomes this, and enables monitoring outside signal in any screen. blue haze your input has been greatly appreciated.

The comparsion thread means you can`t record enable a audio track. If you are talking about resampling a midi track into a sample yes the 4k can do that. If you are talking about playing a record and your midi sequence at the same time yes the mpc can do it. Can you adjust the input while resampling NO. Will there be an update or adjustment no cuz we have been waiting over 4 yrs and no new os then and no new os now. I once again encourage you to just crack up the manual alot of answers lie there.
