I'm used to keys because I have only used an ASR.

I noticed that different ways you strike the pads cause different results. When I tap and release quickly I sometimes get a double hit. If press, it tends to makes one solid hit which is what I want but he inconsistency between the two makes me a bit nervous. Is this right or is there something I should be concerned about?

If this is right, what part of the manual tells of how to strike pads to achieve a certain affect? I might just need to get used to pads but I just want to be able to tap stuff out fast without worrying whetger I'll get a double hit.

I'll probably have a ton more questions guys, so bare with me! :D

I like sports. My favorite sport is basketball. Unfortunantly its getting cold outside. I recently purchased one of those basketballs with the pump built into the ball. I'm kinda disapointed in that purchase, it doesnt work as good as I expected. Oh yeah, back on topic- just get used to the pads

Cool, but is there a setting that can turn off the double hit?

Today I went to burgerking and ordered a medium size combo 1. For anyone that doesnt know what a combo 1 is, that is a whopper with fries and a drink. I specifically asked for no mayonaise on the whopper, and replied "no" to the cashier when she asked me if I wanted cheese on it. I requested the order to go. I was satisfied in the quality of food and service. oh yeah back to the mpc 3000, the double hits is all you, I believe there is no setting to prevent double hits.

Well my recent experiences with Burger King have been ghastly. A number one combo can be good if the burger didn't look baked as opposed to broiled. As for basketball, it is my favorite sport as well. I wonder will those Paul Pierce endorced self pump balls help him get over the hump now that KG and Ray Allen are on the Boston squad. And, oh yeah thank you SOOOO much for your help. I don't know what I would have done without it!
