lfo question

is the lfo active when the sample it is assigned to is not being triggered? meaning can it be used to create randomness when assigned to a filter? (i dont think it is because thats what ive been trying to do, but maybe im doing something wrong)

or does it activate only when the sample is triggered?

the lfos are triggered every time a pad is triggered. they are not "standalone"

to emulate standalone lfos i find myself painstakingly drawing the curves in the qreal editor and then copying them through the length of the sequence.

good question. lfos are way powerful.

Ive never been able to use them. Ive tried to messing around with them but it never made a difference. Ill have to read up.

i use my synths' lfo's to work around this. much smoother response and a lot cleaner sounding than doing it by hand.

thanks for the answer nym. yeah i could use either the q real or just assign it to a qlink. either that or software when i track it. oh well
