When i open the folder to load a kick and press PLAY it sounds perfect, then i press LOAD and in the next window i oress PLAY again and the kick sounds completely different!!! As if the attack was shortened or smth like that. And then i load it into the ram and open it in the program or trim mode IT SOUNDS DIFFERENT. And also if i save this file back into that folder and press PLAY again - it keeps soundin different.

What is the problem? Thanks for the help.

I noticed the same thing recently on my 1k with a hihat sample. When i auditioned it off the CF card it sounded fine then when it was loaded on the pad in the pgm it sounded way diff.

I'm not sure but it has something to do with the midi.

it's definately not about midi. I hear it mainly with kicks. I don't know how to explain it better then in the 1st post. I guess i'll upload an example of this strange effect later.

I experienced something similar some time ago, and it had me really bugged out. You can obviously save the pitch of a sample along with a WAV file, not only the audio data.

So when you are in Trim mode, highlight the sample name and open Window. There you can see the Tune parameter, if that's not 0.00 then you might have that problem. I think the preview function doesn't care about this setting, but the program does.

thank u for the response, Stilo. I checked it out. No, the pitch is 00.00. It's not about that (.
