yo,have any of yall ever had this issue? I'm using a korg ms-2000r midied to my mpc,and it seems every time a seq. changes,(with prog. change.) the first note does not tigger out of the ms-2000,(everyone after does though.) Unless the seq. loops back around again,AND THEN ITS ''SEEMLESS''. is this a midi filter issue? Can this be twerked in one of the track/midi edit event screens? (i.e.- seting up the prog.change just fractions before the next seq.s?) Any help would be dope! As that this ''midi-burping'' kinda sucks, and i'm tired of trying to cover them up with hits/crashes,etc.. THANKS, MPC BROS&SIS...PEACE,RAS-D.

Is it the first bar in the seq?

Im experiencing this with reason rewired with Cubase/nuendo.

It seems to me like the wery first note is ignored until it loops.

Mybe its some built in fault for midi. i know ive expirienced this with other equipment also but cant remeber what gear...

Ive made a rule to myself that i never have the very first bar used.
I always leave it empty..

ive experienced that too. i thought maybe it was to do with not quantizing the first hit correctly then it re adjusts.

Happens to me too...

On the first SEQ LOOP the first notes cutoff. On the 2nd loop the notes dont cutoff. I think its a bug in JJ OS. Problem doesnt happen if I use PLAY button instead of play start. I think the MPC is sending Program changes when you hit PLAY START which when sent out to you synth causes it to stutter on the first loop (probably because of midi delay).

I had that problem also and my solution was found in step edit

and whats kinda trippy is the fact that it seems to be always on the ms-2000r's track(s) only.which obviously says to me,its on the ms's end...considering that its every time i use the ms-2000r-(Which is always.) Maybe its connected to the ms-2000r's ''global postion'' settings (post kybd/pre T.G.) But, i understand this is not the ms-2000 forum..:>

I tried to report it about 1 update ago. Hope he fixes it next update. If not maybe we should try to send it again.

It maybe Korg related cause i'm having the problem with my Korg R3. Ive tried setting the clock on the R3 to internal but it makes no difference. problem doesnt happen with Pro tools or my EMU-MP7 sequencing the R3, only mpc.

Is it to do with quantize?
e.g.
record some pad tapping or midi info from your keyboard over a two bar loop.
If you play a hit at bar 2 beat 4 tick 93 this wont get quantized to bar1 beat 1 tick 00
It will be quantized to beat 2 beat 4 tick 95.
