pitch change with same tempo

can the 2500 spread a sample at different pitch across the pads without affecting the length of the loop ?

not true. patch phrase is not the same as real time pitch shifting. patch phrase simply cuts a sample into different chops and plays the different chops with the tempo. if you pitch it up, then it plays each of the chops at a higher pitch causing there to be gaps between the chops.

patch phrase probably will not work well if you have a loop that has continuous sounds since at higher pitches there will be gaps in the sample.
