Switching from mpc2000xl to the mpc4000- do skills transfer?

If I switch from the 2000xl to the mpc4000 will it be easy to learn. I mean will the learning curve be quicker than it was picking up the 2kxl from scratch. Will I be able to be making beats right away that i could make on the 2kxl? Thanks for the input.

yeah you already know about the part system, Unlike me coming from a 2k classic

good user interface makes 4k a breeze....there is extra features you gotta learn how to use. other than that you got nothing to stress over.
