Im sure some of you have encountered the reported glitch where sampled audio is messed up on playback. My homie purchased a brand new LE model and now he's experiencing this bug. Some say it can be caused by using memory chips that are not akai branded, but he says no, because his was factory installed with akai memory. 2500 owners: is this bug very common, and is this one of the bugs that the JJ fix? We will just do a refund but it's annoying cus u never know if u gonna get another glitchy machine.

no nothing with timing, it is unwanted 'noise' when you play back samples, such as clicks, pops and white noise.

Hi

I got white (static) noise on mine when I altered the inputs from analog to digi.

Had to be replaced after 3 months of pissing about with Numark/alesis support in the UK.

I own a 2500LE and the other night I bought and downloaded drum sounds from a web site. I started making a beat with said sounds and heard what your talking about for the first time. I never experienced this before with the mp, so I thought maybe the sound quality wasn't as good as it should be. Later on, I listened back in just headphones, and didn't hear a thing. I thought either bad cables(but they're brand new) or the mp outputs. This has only happened to me once though.

crazy. This is similar to what is going on over here. Like odd anomolies when samples are played back. I dunno, does the JJ OS improve or increase these problems? Haven't installed it yet...

This was also an issue with the USB connection in older OSs. Maybe that's the problem.

And by the way....does anyone else find Clo's avatar unappropriate?

I dunno about innapropriate. But it is exremely violent. And negative.
And f***ing cool.

But CLo this is the exact same problem and same model that we got the problem with. The white and black 2500, right?

Yea, but like I said before, it's only happened a time or two. Now I've seen alot of people at this site complaining of glitches and bugs with the 2500, is this the case when they release a new mp? Does Akai update the OS through out the life of a machine?, or does the OS even have any thing to do with it?

THX for the avatar love.
