MIDI SYNC/ JJ OS 3.08

I just noticed that a new free version is out, 3.08. What kind of upgrades are on this? Oposed to 3.07? Yeah, Im still using the freebie version because im a broke a$$ (BTW my mpc wont recognize 3.08)

Im trying to sync my mpc1000 and audiodesk/Motu828MKII.
Is this possible with the JJ OS?

MODE+9 - Sync Out A (On the mpc)
Which goes to the MIDI IN on my MOTU

Ive turned on MMC (master midi control) in audiodesk to receive all MIDI device info.

Im trying to sync these with Record/ Stop/ Play nothing more for now...
Feel free to shoot me some advice! Nothing to harsh though I just started using MIDI....

the out from your mpc has to go to the in of your motu
then the out on your motu has to go to the in on your mpc
then set the sync options

Yeah I had it like that before but It may not have been setup correcty. So I have my MIDI i/o on the MOTU and my MPC now. All looks good, set properly in MIDI/ SYNC (PAD9) On the main MPC screen bottom right corner there is MIDI: off, then as follows 1a, 2a,3a.... 1b,2b... etc. What is that set for?

MIDI MACHINE CONTROL: On/ Record mode

RECEIVE SYNC: Ive gone to setup and checked ANY for receive sync
(Its either ANY or OFF)

Transmit SYNC:
Options are...
Transmit MTC to : NONE or IAC Driver
Is the MPC being read as IAC Driver? Nothing else is plugged in so I checked that.

Transmit beat clocks via port: NONE or MOTU
I checked MOTU

Then there is ECHO receive
Or Generate MIDI beat clocks..


Ive toggled between all of these...
Then I hit track one, record, and it blinks... like its waiting instead of just recording like normal, I hit play on the MPC but nothing happens... Vice versa...

Actually... you know whats weird. Ive made some progress....
I can start a sequence in the MPC, I hit play... its going fine.
On AudioDesk, I seemed to have gotten one thing working...
Is STOP, I hit record then stop and it quits the seq. playing on the MPC.
Weird.....

HA! Holy sh*T it works!
Im not even sure how its setup right now, but the last thing I did was UNCHECKED "slave to external sync"

MIDI Rocks....... Why didnt I do this before.
