I just got a MPC 2000xl-se. I'm used to the MPC 500 and 1000, so I'm getting the hang of it pretty quickly, but I can't find the option to switch a pad between "One shot" and "Note on" is there an option for this? If those aren't the terms used for that on the 2000xl, how do I make it so that I can control the duration that a sample play by holding the pad?
