tip : tuning - tempo fix

Just found out that if you tune a sample +1 you have to time-stretch it 7 bpm's lower to stay in the same tempo.
So if you tune a sample +2 , you have to time-stretch from 90 to 76.
Just sharing the knowledge

is that an exact numerical correllation?

I tried 4 versions against the metronome and it sounded pretty accurate.
If you wanna refine my theory , go ahead.
I just tried a +10 tune and did a -70 timestretch and it didn't work out.

I'm going to do some more testing tomorrow.

If you tune a sample +12, you have to timestretch it by 50% from any tempo, so tune +1 means that you have to lower tempo by 4.1667% to keep original tempo, if you need to do that by numbers.
