yeah, I got the latest 2kxl and it comes with a standard 100mb internal and I'm pretty sure iomega is the only co. that makes these zip drives...though I could be wrong.

...i got mine from this company...installed it myself...great concept for memory...however, my disks was doin' this clickin' thing...not just one, but all of them...even my back up...what da hek!...so from experience, i'm goin' back to the floppy and i copped an external scsi...now i'm waitin' on n8 to respond to me about gettin' my data recovered...yall betta hope that your disk don't click...all i can say is use the floppy...back up as much as you can on floppy...rather have 10 disk for one beat that i know is gonna be there when you get ready to load it, than have all your stuff stored on zip and that joint just all of a sudden start clickin' and "Disk read error" pops up on your screen...man, dat aint fresh...believe me dat aint fresh...plus what if someone gives you some data on floppy and you only got the scsi installed... :?: hmmmm :?: ...just somethin' to think about...i still plan on usin' my external don't get me wrong...scsi zip is lovely...however, i gotta make sure that i don't rely totally on just that...gotta find some way to keep my back ups secure....

mos def! back up all your files to pc and flops, I heard about that click of death, hasnt happened to me yet...but I'm ready. I got an external zip via usb hooked to my pc and just xfer all my data on a cd-rw disc, holds 700mb's. But damn I'm thinking though, what causes that click of death? I mean it sounds like a major defect for those zips and seems to happen quite often...but still I think the good outways the bad, ya dig?
