If you want to be sure about your CF working properly, don't go over 1 GB. Although, legends say that some 2 GB might work. Mine reads perfect but cannot save. So I bought a 512 MB and everything works fine now.

I use pny cf cards the 512 and 1 gb, I have had no problems, and the best thing about pny cf cards, they dont have to be formatted. I use them in the mp the same way as my pc and vice versa

Thanks guys, i am using a 1GB Kingston formatted to FAT32 and it doesn't work so i think it might be my drive. :(

well it might not be the drive, try getting a dane-elec or pny cf card before trying to change drives.

1 GB Compact Flash Kingston is my brand of choice.

I wish Id read this first. I just bought 2gb and it wont work in my 2kxl. Luckily it runs in the 1k so all is not lost.
