I want to check whether this is normal behaviour. (in OS4.89).

I have recorded in real time some pan changes with the q-link, all works fine, but I noted that this actually cahnges the PROGRAM settings. If you stop the seq when the q-link is hard panned right, then in PAD11 mode you can see that the whole prog is panned R50. If I change sequence and still use the same program, then it stays panned R50, not MID as it should be.

Also, if the track where I have programmed the pan changes is muted, the pan changes still register, and the same program used on another track pans from right to left as programmed in the muted track.

This is quite annoying, guesses anyone?

Thx

the same happens for LEVEL. if you record a qlink sweep and stop your sequence when your LEVEL is at 50 then move to a different seq, your LEVEL value doesn't "reupdate" until it comes across another qreal LEVEL

same situation with your pan.

as for the mutes, i dunno. this is i guess where a "range" value for qreals woudl be good - instead of 1 pad or the whole track, maybe a range of like A1-A6, or even like in the erase screen when you hit nonconsecutive multiple pads

well, I understand that this is normal behaviour... although when the track is mluted it shouldn't register at all tyhe qreal changes I think (as would happen with CC events when controlling an external module).

Too bad, it means basically that those q-real settings are better used on a single sequence (as a song) rather than on separate sequences, since you can get some surprises when moving from one seq to the other.
